Movie Night – Willow
You’re invited to a cinema night screening of Willow — a film that somehow manages to include evil queens, heroic quests, sword fights, magic acorns, and a man spending most of the movie insisting he’s the greatest swordsman who ever lived. Join us for an evening of adventure as Willow Ufgood, Madmartigan, and a suspicious number of tiny magical creatures attempt to save the world from Queen Bavmorda… with varying levels of competence.
There’ll be danger, destiny, and at least one moment where someone gets turned into the wrong animal. Expect big fantasy energy, chaotic plans, and enough quotable lines to make you want to dramatically shout “OUT OF THE WAY, PECK!” at somebody by the end of the night.
So come along, embrace the prophecy, and prepare for a genuinely great fantasy film — because as Cherlindrea wisely said: “The future of the world depends on it.”
As always, we have camping chairs, popcorn, sweets and of course lots of great beer!
Tickets only £5 – Limited seats available.
Doors : 6.00pm — Film showing : 7.00pm
Location: Upstairs at Topsham Brewery
Thursday – 18th June – 2026.
Over 18’s – Ticket holders only.

Enter the world of Willow. An epic tale of pure adventure that takes us deep into the world of sorcery and scary monsters, hope and heroism.
Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) is a small Nelwyn farmer with big dreams to be a sorcerer. His chance arrives when he becomes guardian to a baby girl who, according to prophesy, is destined to bring down the evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh). It is Willow’s overwhelming task to keep the child safe from the queen.
And so begins an incredible journey of fierce battles, near misses, danger and romance. In a fantastic final confrontation Willow matches wits and strength with the forces of evil for the life of a child whose destiny could change the world.
