Join us for a screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - where the basslines are loud, the relationships are complicated, the fight scenes defy the laws of physics, and getting the girl means defeating her seven evil exes. Literally.
Scott Pilgrim is 22, plays bass in a band called Sex Bob-Omb, and has a pretty uncomplicated life. That is, until he meets Ramona Flowers, the mysterious girl of his dreams. Unfortunately, dating Ramona comes with a slight catch: seven evil exes, each more ridiculous than the last, all determined to kick his ass. Suddenly, Scott’s love life has become a full-blown video game, complete with boss battles, power-ups and an alarming amount of emotional baggage.
Expect epic bass battles, vegan superpowers, awkward romance, flying fists, terrible dating decisions, spontaneous musical numbers, an excessive number of exes and enough comic-book chaos to earn yourself an extra life.
